The Rebuild is complete after a spectacular crash in April 2004. Torpedoed at 180km through two sets of Armco, (hit by a novice driver) the BigCat has undergone a major operation and has re-emerged as a green, lightweight racing machine sporting bigger and bolder CRC signage of their new KITTEN car care product range.

Ray is very appreciative of his long time sponsors CRC and Pit Stop and thanks them for their ongoing support and financial backing, especially with the rebuild. He also welcomes aboard a new sponsor Frucor, with the popular “V” energy drink.

Testing is underway as the car gets ready for the new season towards the end of the year.

To satisfy Ray’s need for speed, the Ivory Beast was taken out of retirement and entered into the Bridgestone Porsche Series.
